Craig Stark started Ecoscapes Sustainable Landscaping in 2002 while attending The University Of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He was the recipient of the MNLA scholarship in 2000 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in 2004. Craig has over 20 years of experience in the landscaping industry and has true passion for his chosen career.
Since 2008, Craig has volunteered and consulted with over 1000 homeowners on raingardens and eco-friendly landscapes with Metro Blooms, Dakota, Scott, and Carver County Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Craig has also volunteered with Blue Thumb where Ecoscapes is also a partner. Education and knowledge is of utmost importance to Ecoscapes and they continue to improve every year.
Craig lives in Elko, MN with his wife (Megan), son (Finn), and daughter (Flora). He is an active member at his church where he started a 100′ x 100′ community donation garden in 2011. The garden donated 6,000 lbs of healthy produce to the local food shelf. In his free time he enjoys traveling, gardening, fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and home remodeling. You will see his passion for his field the first time you meet him.
